

Frank Virgle Baker, 86, passed away on March 12, 2026. He was born on June 16, 1939, in Huntsville, Texas, to Mary and Virgil Baker, and was a resident of Conroe, Texas. Loved by many, Frank was a man who cherished life and people, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Frank grew up in Trinity, Texas. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, and after being honorably discharged moved to Houston. He spent the bulk of his career in various positions within the Oil & Gas industry. He worked as a sales representative for Akzo Nobel until he formed his own company and continued as an independent contractor with them until his retirement in 2017.
Frank found joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life—playing golf, watching sports, and spending time deer hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, sharing memorable trips to Spain, Rome, Portugal, Alaska, Germany, Israel, and more.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Betty; their children Rhonda Acrey and husband Joe, Terri Weeks and husband Terry, Frank V. Baker, Jr., Sandra McKinney and husband Scott, Gregory Williams and wife Upuli, and Brandy Battistella and husband Sergio; their grandchildren Kimberly, Shannon, Aaron, Philip, Bradford, Sterling, Sheridan, Max, Nathan, Antonio, Annie, and Ari; ten great-grandchildren; and his sister, Louise Baker Cockerham. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Baker Ginsel and Virgil Baker, and his brother, Robert Earl Duree.
Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303, US, on March 17, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Cashner Funeral Home on March 18, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Graveside services will follow in Garden Park Cemetery with a reception held at Cashner Funeral Home, in the Oak Hall, from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm following graveside.
