JimBo was our gentle giant. There was nothing small about JimBo. He lived large and loved even larger. He was a great athlete, avid sports fan, who loved to be in the woods or on the water, a fantastic cook, and the right music could cut him straight to his core or make him beam like the sun; most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family. He was a doting father, and loving husband. It is impossible to sum up a man like him.
JimBo had an infectious smile that could instantly disarm you. He also gave the best hugs. He would wrap those big, bear arms around you, and bring you in. That was the safest place in the world. His dry wit would leave you in tears with laughter… as long as you weren’t the butt of his joke. Even then, sometimes you couldn’t help but laugh. He lit up with pride at every mention of his children. They were his pride and joy. That big chest would swell even bigger when he talked about them. If you needed advice, or just a shoulder to cry on, JimBo was your man. His passing will leave us all with a sense of loss, but what we have gained by being a part of his life far surpasses any grief we feel at the moment. Gone, but never forgotten. He enriched every life he touched and will continue to do so even from above.
