Jeff grew up in Middlefield Ohio and graduated from Cardinal High School. After graduation he moved with his family to Texas where he spent his later years. He served on the Conroe Fire Department for a few years. He was employed by CST for 30 years as a machinist.
Jeff enjoyed dirt track racing, sprint cars and gardening. He was a great photographer, capturing moments at sports events, family gatherings, weddings and even the Renaissance Faire. His other hobbies included sketching and oil painting, and he could fabricate anything and everything.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Laurie Scott and sister Kerry Lynn Cain (Harvey). He is survived by his loving wife Mary Bunce, father Kelley Scott (Donna), sister Kelley Jo Scott (Joel), brother Tim Scott, his canine companions Ida Fae and Cora Beth and numerous family and friends. Jeff was a great guy and will be deeply missed.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe. Please feel free to wear your favorite race t-shirt and blue jeans.
