8/15/1948-12/3/2022
James “Jimmy” Henry Lynch, Jr., 74, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on December 3, 2022. Jimmy was a lifelong Conroeite born to Jim Henry and Billie Jean Lynch in 1948.
Jimmy graduated from Conroe High School and attended Sam Houston State University. He started his career in sales at Moore Brothers Lumber Company and then built a successful general contracting business, J&C Enterprises. He enjoyed barbeque and chili cook-offs, fishing, camping, reading western books and the newspaper, and throwing “large” parties with his friends and family. But nothing competed with the love of his life. He began hunting at Bender Pasture at age five with his grandpa and continued until the day he became sick three weekends ago at the deer lease.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Kathy; children Jerilyn Huddleston and Brian and Jayme Lynch; step-son Benjamin Wiege and Dusti; grandchildren, Levi (11), Hattie (10), Lincoln (7), Ryman (7), Rhett (4), Reed (4), Dillon (15), Brooke (12) and Carson (7); niece and nephews Jenni Knox, Max Scott, Jake Scott and Aiden Brown. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and sister Cissi Lynch Scott.
The family invites friends and family for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 10th at 2:00 PM at 412 West Austin Street, Conroe, TX.
