Johnnie B Spurlock

Funeral services for Johnnie B. Spurlock will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, TX at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Johnnie was born near Joaquin, TX on November 26, 1935 to William L. (Buster) and Amy Beth Coyle Spurlock and passed away March 7, 2020 at the age of 84.

Johnnie served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1958.

Johnnie retired from Moore Supply Company in December 1997 after 40 years of service.

Johnnie loved the outdoors and spent lots of time with friends and family hunting and fishing.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his seven siblings – W.J., Joel, Luell, Harold, Ruby, Charleen, and Clarise. He was also preceded in death by his two wives – Charlotte Dampier Spurlock in 2000 and Barbara Spurlock in 2016, his daughter, Amy Henderson in 2007, and grandson Allen Clouse in 2019.

He is survived by his son, Donnie Spurlock; step-sons Scotty Fry (Brandi) and Mike Fry; granddaughter, Crystal Boles (Scotty); grandsons, Michael Fry and Eric Clouse; great grandchildren, Blake, Chelsea (Hunter), Jeffrey, and Parker, and great-great grandson, Jared and special friends Inez McGee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.
