Joseph (Joe) Morgan, a devoted husband, caring father, and doting grandfather went to be with his Lord on February 27, 2018 in Conroe TX. Joe was born in Sharon Hill PA December 20, 1939 to Preston D. Morgan, Sr. and Elizabeth C. (Kramp) Morgan. He graduated from Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Houston, TX and served in the US Army as a Communications Specialist and upon returning began working for the family business, IWECO, eventually as a technical welding expert and later Coastal Welding Supply. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Preston David Morgan, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia (Pat) Vogel Morgan and children Yvette (Morgan) Hoisington, Joseph Duane Morgan, Jr. and wife, Elece Wooler Morgan, and Patrick Bryon Morgan and wife, Tiffany (McClung) Morgan; grandchildren Preston and Greyson Morgan, Jamie Farris and wife Sara Farris, Ashley Smith, and Kayli Farris; great grandchildren Ethan Williams, Sophia Smith, Kason Vititow, Kade, Brodie, and Jett Farris. Joe was a founding parishioner of the Catholic Community of St. Luke the Evangelist in Sagemont and more recently was a member of Sacred Heart in Conroe then at St. Simon and Jude in The Woodlands. He enjoyed spending time with his family taking vacations, camping, hunting, and watching purportedly humorous movies. He was actively involved with his children and grandchildren and attended their games and activities. Joe was quite the handyman and a meticulous do-it-yourselfer and there was virtually nothing he couldn’t fix. A visitation will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, with a Vigil at 7 - 8 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home (801 Teas Rd, Conore, TX, 77303). Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 2, at St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church at (7801 Bay Branch Dr., The Woodlands, TX, 77382).
