Joyce was the daughter of the late Wilton Langlinais of Youngsville, Louisiana, and the former Shirley Donnley of Lafayette Louisiana. Joy was an interior designer, an artist, and a lifelong member of The American Kennel Club. With her love of dogs, she had many champions’: Boxer’s, Shih Tzu’s, and Poodles. At an early age she was an accomplished Ballet dancer.
She is survived by her son Michael T. Alpha of The Woodlands, Daughter-in-law Paula E. Alpha of The Woodlands, and her grandchildren, Alexis E. Alpha, Megan G. Alpha, Mackenzie A. Alpha, Michael T. Alpha II, Lauren J. Alpha, and Matthew D. Alpha; one brother Donald Langlinais and wife Liz, of Youngsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wilton and Shirley Langlinais and her sister Judith Gail Prejean.
Joyce Lynn Alpha was cremated, and her wish was for her Celebration of life will be held at her home.
