Kathy’s passions were many—she loved her Houston sports teams, especially the Astros and Texans, and she never missed an opportunity to cheer them on. She also loved cooking and gardening, and found great joy in reading and spending time with her family, pets, and friends.
She was a devoted wife to Louis Westmoreland for 52 wonderful years and cherished the importance of family above all. Those who knew Kathy will remember her as loving, caring, thoughtful, kind, and extremely generous. Her faith was central to her life, and she served as a greeter at her church for many years, always with a warm smile and kind words for everyone.

She is survived by her daughter Julie Westmoreland of Conroe and her children Reagan and Matthew; her great-grandchildren Ace and Aliya; her son Greg Westmoreland and his wife Kristi of Austin and their son Will and his wife Olivia, as well as their sons Mark and Thomas; and her son Jim Westmoreland and his wife Dawn of Conroe and his children Cole, Jackson, Brady, and Aubrey.
