Kristie Johnson Parker, 53, devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister, went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 4, 2026, in Houston, Texas. She was born on December 21, 1972, in Alabama. She lived a life defined by love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to everyone she met.
Kristie met Randy in Birmingham where he was working at an exotic pet store. From that unexpected beginning grew a beautiful love story. They began their wonderful life together on August 31, 1996, a day that marked the start of a partnership rooted in devotion, laughter, love, adventure, and family. Soon after, they moved to The Woodlands, Texas, where they raised two beautiful children, Grace and Carson. They shared a deep love of live music-a love they passed down to Grace and Carson, creating memories of concerts, road trips and quiet evenings at home. Some of Kristie's greatest joys came from watching Carson play music, going camping, and taking countless trips to Big Bend with her family. These are moments where she felt alive and wrapped in love of the people who meant everything to her.
Family was everything to Kristie. She treasured every Christmas spent on her family's farm in Alabama, where the days were filled with the comfort of extended family, shared stories and generations of love. Even though Kristie was an Alabama girl, she embraced Texas, making it her home, building a life rich with family, friends, connection and joy.
Kristie lived each day with gratitude and intention, never taking a single moment for granted. Through Kristie's life, God showed us what it means to love unconditionally, to see beauty in everyone and meet the world with optimism, grace and kindness. Kristie's faith was reflected both in her words and the way she lived-loving deeply, giving freely and caring for others with a generous and open heart.
Kristie cherished her husband, her children, her family, and her friends solely for the sacred happiness of loving and being loved.
Kristie never stopped fighting to live so she could continue sharing God's work with us. With remarkable strength, courage and faith, she held on to hope until God called her home. And she answered His call with her radiant smile that lit up every room.
Kristie's light never dimmed and never will. Though her absence leaves an ache beyond words, we trust in God's promise that love does not end. Kristie's spirit, kindness, and light lives on in all the hearts she touched. We grieve her loss, but we do not grieve without hope. We take comfort in knowing she is now in God's eternal care, smiling down on those she loves, just as she always did in life.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Randy; children Grace and Carson; parents Mickey and Kay Johnson. Her sisters Jennifer Kotouch and Lisa (& Mark) Hicks; parents-in-law Robert and Kathy Parker; brother-in-law, Chuck Parker, and sister-in-law Andrea (& Eric) Thomas, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends whose lives were and forever will be changed by her love.
