Larry Marshall Johns of Conroe, Texas passed away peacefully at his home September 23, 2014 from a terminal illness. He was born November 9, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia. Marshall was a graduate of Georgia State University, and then served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Marshall loved fishing, reading, and spending time with his family. He found great joy in making his grandchildren laugh by telling stories. He was preceded in death by his parents Larry Cicero Johns and Evelyn Johns Hewett. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Charlene (Heidi) Johns, step father Clarence Hewett, brother, Barry Seth Johns and wife Debbie of Atlanta, Georgia, daughter, Heather Cagney and husband Travis, son, Lee Johns and fiancé Casi, son, Michael Johns and wife Lindsey, and eight grandchildren Lindsey, Courtney, Dylan, Blake, and Hagan Johns, and Carter, Kendall, and Katie Cagney. Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 26, 2014 at Cashner Funeral Home, Green Room, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas 77303, from 5-8 pm. Interment will be held in Atlanta, Georgia.
