Leland Dowan Wright, 75, of Conroe, Texas, passed away August 24, 2018. Leland was born October 18, 1942, in Silsbee, Texas, to Emmett L. and Opal R. (Stephens) Wright.

Leland was preceded in death by his parents, brother, James (Jake) Wright and Vivian (Rae) Goins. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, daughter, Mary and husband Dan Smith of Gardner, Kansas, son; DeWayne and his wife, Gina Wright of Spokane, Washington, three grandchildren Austin, Tyler, Savannah Wright and granddog Malachi Smith.

Services to be held August 30, 2018, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Crighton Ward Building, at 2495 Ed Kharbat Drive Conroe, Texas, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
