

Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home on Monday April 8th 2013 at 5:00pm.
Funeral service will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church on Tuesday April 9th at 10:00am
with Pastor Larry York officiating and music provided by Pastor Rocky Gillmore. Burial/Interment
will follow at Cashner Funeral Home. Jim was born in Freer, Texas to Lorion Harvey “Jimmy” Jamison, Sr. and Thomasina “Tommie” Wilkins Jamison on July 16th 1937. He went to high school at
Williams Adams High School in Alice Texas and graduated in 1956. He enlisted in the
United States Air Force and served as an Air Craft Mechanic. He worked for numerous
airlines throughout his career including Trans Texas Airlines, Texas International Airlines
and Continental Airlines. He enjoyed motorcycles and was a charter member of Chapter G
of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
He also enjoyed sharing his love of Jesus and spending time with his grand children and great-grandchildren.
Jim is preceded in death by his Father, Lorion Harvey “Jimmy” Jamison Sr., his mother Thomasina Jamison.
Jim is survived by his wife Sharon Lea Jamison of Oak Ridge. His sister Shirley Lou Buckert of Victoria Texas.
His son Jeffery Allen Jamison of Hernando Mississippi. His daughter Loretta Darlene Watts of Spring Texas.
5 grandchildren and 2 great grand children also survive him. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may
be made to their favorite charity or to the American Heart Association. Condolences may be left in Jim’s online

the wonderful family and friends at Crossroads Baptist Church, the staff at Park Manor Skilled Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center.
