Lorraine was born and raised in Staten Island, NY but quickly got herself to Texas with Arnie where she lived and enjoyed life with her family for the past 52 years. She began her career with Exxon in 1969 and retired (with Arnie’s urging) in 1992 from the Law Department.
Lorraine was a Charter Member of Grace Lutheran Church in Conroe and remained active until shortly before her illness. During her lifetime Lorraine was active in the Altar Guild, Lion’s Club, Junior Diabetes Research Foundation and the Montgomery County Fair and Rodeo.
Lorraine’s family was especially important to her and she showed that to them in her special ways. Family dinners for Holidays was one of her favorite times. Mom could set a beautiful table and made every dinner seem extra special. Many happy times were spent around the dining table. During retirement Lorraine and Arnie enjoyed traveling to the family homeland of Norway, throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
She will be missed by all her family and friends, but knowing she’s been reunited with the love of her life – Arnie and son Mark brings us peace.
