Lydia C. Jones

She is survived by her sons Carson L. Jones Jr. and Gary Lewis Jones and her daughter Leslie Faye Jones. Sisters Grace Miller, Oma Whitaker, Callie Dotson and Carlene Wilson (Don) and brother Samuel H. Cannon (Edna). She also had many, many beautiful nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband C.L. Jones and 3 sisters (Bell Miller, Bertis Vandervort, Sister Burris) and 1 brother (Oscar Cannon Jr.) She loved her job as a pharmacy tech, serving as Nursery coordinator at her church for many years and helping her husband with his tape ministry. They also loved working together with his plants. After retirement she kept many children in the home who stil loved to come see her as they grew. She also loved to read at night, do word search puzzles and focus on her bible studies.

There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas on Saturday, January 25, 2019 at 2:00pm.
