Fue Guadalupana, Cursillista y Ministra de la Eucaristía; asimismo, participó en la Sociedad de San Vicente de Paúl, manteniéndose activa en distintos ministerios de la iglesia con un espíritu de servicio arraigado en la compasión y una devoción sincera.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, hermanos y sus hijos Juan de Dios Barrios y Francisco Rincón.
Le sobreviven sus hijos Pedro Rodríguez, Lidia Rincón, Alberto Rincón, Juan Carlos Rodríguez, Antonio Rincón, Laura Rincón, Raúl Rincón, Rogelio Rincón, Elmo Rodríguez, Mónica Rodríguez, Juan Barrios, María M. Barrios y Alma Rincón; así como numerosos nietos, bisnietos, tataranietos, choznos Y un chihuahua.
María Jesús Rodríguez será recordada con profundo respeto y un amor perdurable: por su corazón fiel, por su trato honesto y compasivo, por sus manos trabajadoras y por la serena fortaleza y sabiduría que definieron su vida y su legado.
María Jesús Rodríguez, 91, passed away on April 21, 2026. Born on July 2, 1934, she was the youngest of three children and was born in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico. She resided in Conroe, Texas.
María Jesús Rodríguez was deeply cherished in the lives of those who knew her: steadfast in her faith, guided by honesty, and characterized by a compassionate and kind spirit. Throughout a life forged by resilience and hard work, she conducted herself with a serene wisdom and a constant devotion that was felt most profoundly in the love she bestowed upon her family.
Her greatest treasure was her children, and her unwavering faith was interwoven into the way she loved and cared for them. In her daily life, she found purpose and solace in simple yet meaningful activities—cooking, cleaning, prayer, gardening, traveling, and music—each of which reflected the diligence and warmth with which she tended to her home and those around her.
As a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, María Jesús Rodríguez served with dedication in various capacities. She was a Guadalupana, a Cursillista, and a Eucharistic Minister; she also participated in the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, remaining active in various church ministries with a spirit of service rooted in compassion and sincere devotion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, and her sons, Juan de Dios Barrios and Francisco Rincón.
She is survived by her children: Pedro Rodríguez, Lidia Rincón, Alberto Rincón, Juan Carlos Rodríguez, Antonio Rincón, Laura Rincón, Raúl Rincón, Rogelio Rincón, Elmo Rodríguez, Mónica Rodríguez, Juan Barrios, María M. Barrios, and Alma Rincón; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren, and a Chihuahua. María Jesús Rodríguez will be remembered with profound respect and enduring love: for her faithful heart, for her honest and compassionate nature, for her hardworking hands, and for the serene strength and wisdom that defined her life and legacy.
