Mark Pierson Couch, 64, passed away peacefully on July 26th, 2014 with his loving family by his side. Born in Lubbock, TX, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth while being a loyal member of the Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He worked as a land surveyor and entrepreneur who owned his own businesses throughout his life. Mark Couch had an insatiable enthusiasm for life and outdoor activities. His passions included golf and being an avid fisherman who loved visiting Lake Sam Rayburn on a weekly basis. He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Couch, whom he always considered his hero. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Gail (Shively) Couch, son, Justin (Kim), grandson, Taylor, mother Norma Couch, sister, Mary (Paul), niece, Kim and nephew Eric. Services will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, on Wednesday July 30th at 12:30.
