Marshall Grady Jones, 98 of Long branch, Texas passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017. He was born on May 13, 1918 in Scottsboro, Alabama to Bessie Mae and Ben Jones. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jones, daughter Kay Fullen, and son Thomas Jones. Grady is survived by his daughter Katherine Lewis, grandchildren Marshall and Jeff Lewis, George Fullen III, and Ida Ruth Stephens; great grandchildren, Mathew, Austin, Jaden, Cari, and Blake Lewis, Victoria, Donnie, Matthew, and Gabriel Fullen, Carlee, Kaitlyn, and Gracie Thompson, and numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. Grady was a World War II Veteran serving in the Army Field Artillery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 11:30 with a service to follow at 12:30 at Cashmer Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas. Interment will be at the Old Waverly Cemetery in New Waverly, Texas following the service. Memorials can be made to Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Mt. Enterprise, TX in Grady’s honor.
