
Memorial services for Marvin James Fletcher, 80, of Panorama Village will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 12:30pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Cliff Herrington officiating. Jim, as known by his friends, was born September 25, 1930 in Fort Worth, Texas to Patrick and Winola Fletcher and entered into rest on November 4, 2010 in Panorama Village. Jim was known by his community as “Pawpaw the Clown”. Jim honorably served our country in the United States Air Force for twenty years before his retirement. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Wanda Louise Fletcher; parents, Patrick Fields Fletcher and Winola Christine Hall-Fletcher and by his brothers, Donald Fletcher and James Parmer. Left behind to cherish his many loving and fond memories are his children, Jan Ayraud of Conroe, TX, Carol and her husband Col. Brian Shimel of Colorado Springs, CO and Dr. Gayle Fletcher and his wife Angela of Conroe, TX; sister, Wanda Gordon of Port Arthur, TX; grandchildren, Nick Ayraud and his wife Julie, Jessica Tapp and her husband Trevor; Kristi Ayraud and her husband Josh Sager, Matt Fletcher and his wife Rocio, Will Shimel, Cat Shimel and Philip Shimel; great grandchildren, Jordynn Sager, Addison Tapp and soon to be expected, Keegan Sager. In lieu of flowers the family request donations are made to the Willis Friendship Center, 600 Gerald St Willis, TX.
