To many she was known as Mrs. May, but to most she was loved as Meme. Maynelle Pruett, 79, entered into heaven on April, 5, 2018, while peacefully surrounded by her family. May was born December 23, 1938, daughter to Bob and Allene Vaught in Redwater, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 42 years, Bobby Pruett. What a glorious day in heaven it was when these two reunited again. May has also joined her son, Richard W. Pruett and many other loved ones.
May is survived by loving siblings as well as daughter, Vickie Ruiz and granddaughters Krystie Frederick, Katie Brooks, Kelsie May, Candy Phelps and their husbands, granddaughter Ericka Ruiz and grandson Richard Wayne (Bubba) Pruett. May was very honored to be Meme to 15 great grandchildren, who will miss her dearly, and many more family members.
Through many years as a CISD bus driver, and recent years as a Walmart cashier, May brightened the lives of many. Whether it was her laughter or good ole fashion humor, she always brought you to a smile. Gone for now, but not forever, and always in our hearts Meme will be. Let’s brighten the world a little bit more with Meme’s love for flowers. Please come to the visitation and services wearing spring colors.
Visitation will be held at Metcalf Funeral Home, 1801 E White Oak Terrace, Conroe, TX 77304, on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 5-7 pm. Services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Metcalf Funeral Home, interment to follow services at Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery.
