Amongst Mike's final wishes was that this text be included in his obituary: I surrender to God, my father, and his mighty son, Jesus Christ, who came to earth as a man, who laid down his life on the cross, and died for my sins, yet he rose, undefeated by death, so that I may be granted everlasting life. My oath, so help me God.
