Michael Gabriel Scott was born December 9, 2003 to parents Shannon and Patricia Scott. His birth was difficult and the use of a vacuum left him with a head injury at birth. His neurologist felt this led to his autism. Even with the battle with autism, he excelled. He graduated with the class of 2022 from Lake Creek High School in Montgomery, Texas.
Michael was gifted in music and loved to sing. He would participate in the talent shows at school every year. He was very courageous on stage even in front of his peers. Michael was also a gifted artist and loved to draw, especially anime. He was always creating music and art.
Michael loved to help in the kitchen when he was little and even participated in the Montgomery County Fair by baking his famous chocolate peanut butter cake which won him reserve champion.
Michael wanted to get a job and make his own money at a very young age. He had big dreams of helping his friends. He wanted his driver license as soon as possible so he could drive his friends to school and work. This became a reality as soon as he received his license. He was always working and continued to work for Door Dash and Uber Eats while working his regular jobs. He loved his job at Marcos Pizza in Montgomery, Texas. He loved driving and being a delivery driver. Michael was always going out of his way to take friends and family wherever they needed to go. He never gave helping a second thought. He was always available to anyone who needed him, literally going the extra mile.
Michael made sure to call his loved ones every day. He always made his friends and family feel wanted and loved. He took care of his dad and always made sure he ate even when Dad wasn’t feeling well. He would get Dad to get up and go somewhere with him to get him out of the bed and out of the house even when he didn’t feel up to it. He knew it was best and he made sure it happened.
He met his best friend and sister, Christina, at the memorial service of their mutual friend here at Metcalf. Their relationship grew over time into an unbreakable bond. She became family. It’s a special bond we always hoped & prayed Michael would experience. He had unconditional love from his family; and with Christina, he experienced unconditional love from his soul sister.
Michael became an independent rap artist and created his own station on Spotify. He researched and learned how to record. He accumulated and made a system that helped him create his music. He reached out to local producers and artists to help learn and create. He released two albums an EP and many singles within the 33 months that he began his station. He started a business name BM Music Industries. This was a huge source of therapy for him. He was able to express his emotions with song and he made so many friends along the way.
Michael was a friend to everyone. If you had the opportunity to be loved by Michael and to get to know him, you had a very loyal and special friend. He will be dearly missed.
