He was born on December 02, 1956, in Conroe, Texas to Laura Jo and Milton “Boots” Weinzettle, Sr.
Pete, a talented metal worker, was employed as a welder for over 40 years and recently retired from the City of Conroe. He was his happiest when surrounded by lots of family and friends while listening to music, bbqing, telling jokes, and drinking beer. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, campfires, and making metal art (Pete’s Beer Art).
“Popo” Pete was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. If he loved you, he was quick to tell you. If you needed a laugh, he’d give you one.
Left to remember him fondly are his wife of 47 years, Tara, his daughters, Tonya Weinzettle (and Eric Anderson) and Teresa Weinzettle, his granddaughter Molly Campbell, and honorary granddaughter, Karsyn Anderson. Pete also leaves behind his sister and brother-in-law Linda and Kenneth Williamson of Ore City, Texas, brother-in-law Fred Deusinger of Montgomery, TX, sister-in-law and husband Debi and Charles Welborn of Ft. Collins, Colorado, nieces and nephews (Lisa Brasher, Roger Williamson, Alonda Achee, Danny Weinzettle, Geoff Welborn, Tom Welborn, Cory Crofton, Kent Deusinger, and Kara Trotter), numerous great nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Laura Jo and Milton Weinzettle, Sr, brothers Larry Weinzettle and Danny Weinzettle, mother and father-in-law Fred and Mary Deusinger, and sister-in-law Lana Deusinger.
