Peggy Howren

Peggy Joyce Howren was born February 3, 1935 in Birmingham, Alabama and passed away November 1, 2018 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 83. Peggy loved her family and would do anything for them. She loved spending time with them as much as she could. In her early years she worked for the Houston Police Department where she was a School Crossing Guard. Peggy retired from Palais Royal after over 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Jeffers; husband, Noel Howren Sr; daughter, Debi Shippy; brother, Johnny Jeffers; sisters, Charlene Vinson and Mary Alice Peterson. Peggy is survived by her children: Jennice Meek and husband Aaron of Kerrville, Texas, Donna Green and husband Johnny of La Grange, Texas and Holland Howren Jr and wife Mary of Conroe, Texas; son-in-law, Eddie Shippy of Houston, Texas; grandchildren: Michael Jackson, Matthew Jackson, Jessica Brooks, Katie Meek, Sunny Haines, Chip Allen, Holly Howren, Noel Howren III, Allison Galloway and Wesley Hall; great grandchildren: Jaidan Brooks, Sean Brooks, Kaleigh Brooks, Draven Jackson, Jason Sullivan, Chase Sullivan, Leighton Allen, Addison Allen, Hailey Wagenschutz, Jewel Wagenschutz, Mia Wagenschutz, Trysten Moyer and Isaac Moyer. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Monday, November 5 2018 from 6-8pm. Celebration of Life Service will be in the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 10am with Pastor Merle Blado officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be: Noel Howren III, Jason Sullivan, Joseph Ramey, Chip Allen, Robert Eisfeldt and Glen Moyer.
