Richard Allen Krause

A memorial service for Richard Allen Krause, age 65, of Conroe will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 3 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Richard was born July 12, 1945 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and passed away on January 14, 2011 at his home in Conroe, Texas after a courageous fight with cancer.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War. Richard worked in sales for the majority of his career. He won several awards, such as, District Manager of the Year for the InSinkErator Corporation and top in sales, most volume for Huntwick Homes.

Richard was an avid outdoorsman. He loved his garden and won yard of the month several times. Hunting and fishing were two of his favorite hobbies. He was a member of the McQuenney Bass Club and won several awards there. Barbeque and cooking for family and friends was what he enjoyed most.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Gladys Wahl Krause; son, Paul Michael Krause; and brothers, Michael Krause and Karl Krause. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Linda Lake of Conroe;son; Frank and Lori Lake, daughter, Tammie Ann Price and husband James of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; son, Mark Allan Krause and wife Michelle of Racine, Wisconsin; daughter-in-law, Carrie Krause;step son, Frank Lake and wife Lori, sisters, Janet Drier, Peggy Bruss, Cheryl Krause, Jerilyn Zwolinski, Pamela Simic, Vickie Buetow, Debbie Krause and Sharon Metko; brothers, Bill Krause, Bob Krause, Ted Krause and Darrell Krause; grandchildren, Shannon SiCard, Justin Ellenberger, Bradly Ellenberger, Daniel Ellenberger, Tricia Price, Nick Krause, Alyssa Krause, Matthew Krause, Maxwell Krause, Landon Lake and Kayla Lake; great grandchildren, Jesse Krause, Noah SiCard, Kora SiCard, and Illiana Ellenberger.
