For those who knew and loved him, he was a loving caring father, grandfather, husband and friend. He was a very thoughtful and trusting person. He is a person we all loved and will miss dearly.
He spent most of his life in Texas where he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had an appreciation for the little things in life. Richard was hardworking, witty and was never without a shortage of conversation.
Richard started his career in 1965 with the United States Airforce. He served our country in the Vietnam War for 6 and half years as an aircraft electrician. After returning he became a master auto mechanic throughout the state of Texas. Ending this career with Sam White Oldsmobile Dealership in Houston. In his retirement years, he enjoyed fishing, coffee on his porch, anything outdoors, spending time with his loved ones.
Richard will forever be in our hearts.
