Robert Lee Adams Jr.

He was born on May 12, 1950, to Robert Sr. and Adell Adams in Longview, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia Scott Adams, one son, Padgett Adams, and one grandson, Stefan Adams. Sister Von Scott (Billie), two brothers John Adams (Gloria), and Albert Adams, sister-in-law Frances Lampkin (Robert), brother-in-law, Edwin Scott, Jr. (Dora) and Fred Roberson and many nieces, nephews and friends. Those preceding him in death include his parents, son Robert Adams, sister Carolyn Adams, sister-in-law Linda Roberson.

Robert graduated from Longview High School (Class of 1968). He earned a Bachelor degree in Architecture and Interior Design from Texas Tech University. Robert worked for many architectural firms before opening his own firm in 1994. Creating buildings was his passion. His architectural work can be seen throughout Texas.

Robert was a member of Greenspoint Baptist Church for many years until his health began to fail. He was the architect for the new Greenspoint Baptist Church which was a labor of love for him. He was also affiliated with AIA and his service fraternity Alpha, Phi Alpha.

Services for Robert will be held Friday, September 19, 2025, at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303. Viewing will take place at 10:00 a.m. with graveside services to follow at 11:00 a.m.
