Robert C. McMullen

Funeral services for Robert C. McMullen will be held May 2, 2013 at 10:00am at Mim’s Baptist Church with Bro. Gene Kendrick officiating. Burial will follow in Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Robert was born on November 11, 1920 in Lufkin, Texas to John Sterling and Eva Mae McMullen and passed away April 28, 2013 in Conroe, Texas. Robert was a devoted Christian and a member of Mim’s Baptist Church for over 40 years. He was the founder of the Montgomery County Bee Keepers Association and served as President for two years and an active member until 2012. Robert honorably served our country in the United States Navy during WWII aboard the Awahou and Prometheus. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Billie Jo McMullen; son, J. Stephen McMullen and wife Betty of Conroe; daughter, Carla Costanzo and husband Bob of Conroe; grandchildren, Jennifer Osufsen and husband Jesse and Karen Thibodeaux and husband Kevin; great grandchildren, Riley Osufsen, Savannah Osufsen, Brooke Osufsen, Isaac Osufsen, Jedidiah Osufsen, Brenna Thibodeaux, Maya Thibodeaux, Sidney Thibodeaux, Louis Thibodeaux, Kolton Thibodeaux.
