Robert Leroy Schwartz

Robert Leroy Schwartz, 68 years, 2 months and 23 days old, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025, after complications due to a stroke, covid and sepsis. He was born on May 10, 1957, at Hermann Hospital in Houston to Samuel and Margaret Schwartz.

Robert lived in New Caney for 20 years where he enjoyed his little house and his many friends. Robert worked as a pest control specialist (retired) and previously delivered airfreight. He was a volunteer EMT and Firefighter at the Westfield Fire Department in Houston where he received many recommendations for his service and bravery. Robert was a Christian and believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Margaret (Wilson) Schwartz, sister and brother-in-law, Charlene and Nat Butzke, brother-in-law, William Covington, Nephew Timothy Mullins and great nephew Dustin Smith. Robert is survived by his sisters Ruth Covington and Bettye Schwartz, brother William Brookshire, Jr. and numerous other relatives.

The family would like to thank family, friends and First Baptist Church of Houston for their support. They would also like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to Oakmont of Katy for the wonderful care they gave Robert.

A memorial service for Robert will be planned in the future.
