

Funeral services for Roger Lee Haese will be held Friday, January 4, 2013 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Dowen Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Roger was born August 12, 1926 in San Antonio, TX to Arthur and Martha Haese and passed away December 31, 2012 in Conroe, Texas. Roger spent 50 years in the oilfield business; many of which were spent traveling the world with his wife and children. After he retired, he enjoyed running his ostrich farm and later building boat lift covers until he quit working to care for and spend more time with his wife. He was a selflessly devoted husband, a giving and loving daddy, and an adored grandpa. In his family, he was famous for his signature birthday cakes and weekly Saturday morning breakfasts. He loved being surrounded by his family and would truly do anything for the people that he loved. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Evie Lee Haese; sons, Roger Donald Haese and wife Miggie of Lake Charles and David Wayne Haese and wife Helen of Montgomery; daughter, Darlene Haese Odom of Montgomery; brother, Jay Ray Haese of Conroe; grandchildren, Russell Odom, Nicole Odom, Shannon Haese, Dustin Haese and wife Mellissa, Micah Haese, Hunter Haese, Roger David Haese and wife Angela, Danielle Haese and Kara Haese; great grandchildren, Caden Haese, Avery Haese and Austin Haese. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends also survived. Roger was preceded in death by his son Dennis Arthur Haese.
