Dear Patsy and Girls
Bumper, as I knew him, worked together at the police dept. and later on the same shift in the detective office. He was always someone who I respected and looked up to. I will always fondly remember him for standing up for what was right.

We're so sorry to hear about Roger.  We still have the three cassette tapes he compiled in 1985 (?) for our annual party.  We think of Bumper often.  Our prayers are with you

We are so sorry for Bumper's passing.  We saw him last year when he came to see Big Steve and visited with him at Baseball. I know you will really miss him and it will be very hard for awhile. Dear Dorothy & Diane;

I was very sorry to read of Roger's passing in yesterday's Advocate.   It's been a long time since I have seen you or Roger.  He stopped by my office in Gonzales quite a few years ago and we had a nice visit about all the old time on Glendale Ave. Mom still lives in the same house, but the neighborhood certainly looks different.  Especially without all the beautiful oak tree that Hurricane Gustav took down.  The first thing I thought about when I read of Roger's passing was how we used to play marbles in our front yard as kids and football with the Boudreaux's on the vacant lot down the street. I also remember Roger's sense of humor and infectious laugh whenever we did foolish things (which was quite often).  My sincere condolences go out to you and may you find some comfort in knowing that others sympathize with you in your loss.

Patsy and girl's, my deepest sympathy.  Roger and I worked together in the Detective Office and I have only wonderful memories of those times.

Although I hadn't seen or talked to "Bumper" in several years, I do have fond memories of sharing a beer or two at the Southdowns Lounge. He was a "man's man" and I will cherish the good times we had together. 
 I offer my sincere condolences for your loss.

Dear Patsy and girls,
I am sorry to hear about Bumpers passing.  I will always remember him as a "fun and sarcastic" fellow police officer.  My most memorable memory of him was back in the mid-seventies when Howard Kidder was Chief and Roger came to our assigned 4th of July festivities corner with a lounge chair and a beer cooler.  He set up his equipment, took off his uniform shirt and proceeded to lay in his chair...............directly under the watchful eyes of the Chief!!!!

That is the Bumper I will always fondly remember.

I am so sorry to hear about Roger. As a young boy going to Mom Joe's house I always looked forward to spending time with Roger and Apollo. Those are some of my best memories of you all. We love you all and my prayers are with you. May God grant you peace in your time of sorrow.
