Rosa Leta Rood

Rosa Leta Rood, 69, of Montgomery, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 30, 2013. She was born on September 21, 1943, in Mumford, Texas to Lorene and Henry Erwin. She is preceded in death by her parents; Rosa is survived by her loving husband of forty years, Walter R. Rood of Montgomery, Texas; daughters, Debbie Erwin and husband Taylor of Lovelady, Texas, Laura Randawa of Katy, Texas, and Linda Rood of San Diego, California; ten grandchildren, Candice Massey and husband Craig, Josh Miller and wife Ashley , Cassie Erwin, Blake Miller, Keana Smith, Cole Smith , Sara Randawa, Sadia Randawa, Amira Randawa, two great-grandchildren, Hayden and Ethan Miller; Sister: Ruth Roberts; Brothers: Roy Erwins, Roger Erwins, Roland Erwins and Hardy Erwins; Numerous other relatives and a host of friends also survive. On Friday, July 5, 2013, at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 7801 Bay Branch Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77385, the family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. with Celebration of Life Mass following at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anthony Catholic Church by Father Jaison Thomas. Interment will follow at Garden Park Cemetery, on Teas Road, Conroe, Texas at 2:00 pm.
