Roy was born on September 23, 1935 in Salem New Jersey but has been a resident of Conroe for the last 12 years. He left this earth suddenly to take his place with the Angels and watch over us. Roy leaves his wife, Betty Dyer, daughters Kymber Hicks and Kelli Mullen and sons Roy W. Myers, Jr. and Russell Myers along with 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and many other friends and family. He worked for Scott Paper and Brown & Root as a draftsman for many years until his retirement here in Conroe.
Roy's wishes were to have his life celebrated and not mourned and he chose not to have formal services. He will be sorely missed, but, will remain in our hearts and memories forever.
