Russell Everett Crawford

Mr. Crawford is survived by his daughters, Ashley Crawford (23) and Kat Crawford (17). He is survived by his wife of 24 years Leslie Crawford. He is also survived by his mother, Sharon Crawford as well as two sisters, Anita Leonard and Sally McVicker.

Pallbearers for the services will be Harvey Smith, Austin Knight, Jordan Lipscy, Garrett Kirsch, Sam Michael and Mark Brewer.

Russell Crawford was a veteran of Desert Storm. He served in the US Army for four years and was discharged honorably with many honors and commendations. Russell grew up in Killeen, TX. After working briefly with the Department of Corrections in Huntsville, TX, Russell found a passion and love for landscaping. He started a landscaping business and loved working in the landscaping industry. He was an Account Manager at Bio landscaping in Houston for almost ten years. He most recently was employed by HEB. Russell was an extremely organized and hard worker with a great attention to detail. He was loved by many as his smile and laughter quickly opened hearts of those in both his business and personal life. Russell was first and foremost a family man and had a deep and profound love for both of his beautiful daughters. Much of Russell’s spare time was spent helping the girls pursue their interest in sports and various hobbies.

Funeral services will be held at the Veteran’s Cemetery at 10410 Veteran’s Memorial Drive, Houston TX at 1:15pm on Tuesday, April 3rd. Due to limitations on allowed floral arrangements at the Veterans Cemetery, the family is requesting that any condolences or flowers be sent to the Daughters’ home at 6715 Mossy Bluff Court, Spring TX 77379.
