Ruth was born on June 30, 1960, in Omro, Wisconsin, and lived a meaningful and happy life with her beloved husband and soul mate, Douglas R. Glassel.
Throughout her life, Ruth was known for her infectious smile and lasting impact on everyone she encountered. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Ruth would give advice to get up, keep going, and never give up. Ruth will forever be remembered.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Douglas Glassel, children, Misty and Dale Antes, Valarie Londrie, Chris and Sean Glassel, many grandchildren, her cherished great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Eddie and John Howen and 2 sisters, Kathleen and Angelique Howen.
The Bible describes heaven as a place of eternal joy and fellowship with God. Revelation 21:4 says, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away".
A celebration of life for Ruth will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303.
