Sarahi was special. Throughout her 51 years of life, she had always stayed a student. Her learners mentality and thirst for knowledge pushed her to do many great things throughout the years. Some of her aspirations led her to graduate cosmetology school, become an RNA, open her own furniture restoration store “Color Me Vintage”, and even learn design and pressing of custom graphics for t-shirts, cups, etc. But her favorite adventure of all, surrendering herself over to the Lord Jesus Christ.
As she dedicated her life to serving the Lord and helping others, it was apparent how genuine and heartfelt she was. If Sarahi loved you, she made sure you knew it. And often.
As she and her husband, Brian, continued their 25 years of marriage together, the last 3 years had been very special for them. They traveled to 43 states via motorcycle. Those trips accumulated to over 70,000 miles and each one of those miles was accompanied by Sarahi’s love for the ride itself and a smile.
Her 3 children, Tiahra, Brian and Nikolas would deem her as the family’s rock. Her combination of strength and compassion not only made her one of a kind, but more importantly, made her children feel safe, yet motivated to one day be as brilliant as their Mom.
Sarahi is survived by her husband, Brian Rodway; her daughter, Tiahra Linde; her sons, Brian (B.J.) Rodway and Nikolas Rodway; her parents, Sonia Fernandez and Augusto Fernandez; her sister, Sally Michelle Lopez Agron; her brothers, Jorge Lopez, William Lopez, and Jorge S. Lopez; her stepmom, Selaida Lopez; her nephews, Gabriel Gomez, Jordan Lopez, and Joshua Lopez; her granddogs, Harley, Axel, and Moon. Sarahi was preceded in death by her father, Jorge Lopez.
A celebration of life for Sarahi will be held Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas followed by a visitation from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
