Her life approach was positive and filled with a belief in her ability to overcome. Every day counted. Shannon’s deepest concern and first priority was always her daughter, Zoe, who shared a bond with her that will always remain. In her words, “…my departure from here is an exciting day. I am going to live life to the fullest but so look forward to the day I get to go to heaven and not suffer anymore. It is a refuge and peace that I want so badly. I love my loved ones in this life! I love them soooo much!! I also know that I will see them again some day.” She was involved in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and a courageous influencer on social media, offering continual support and inspiration to others fighting cystic fibrosis.
