She was raised in the Oak Ridge North area and graduated from J.L. McCullogh High School in 1981. It was in high school that Sharon met the love of her life, Steven and the two were married 3 short years after graduation in the summer of 1984. They begun their family in 1989 with the birth of their daughter, Michelle.
In recent years, she worked for the Willis ISD until 2023 when she could no longer.
Sharon loved her family dearly and cherished the time she got to spend with her grandbabies, Riley and Kaylee. She also loved her puppies and feeding the birds in her yard.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Steven Keener, daughter Michelle Clooney and husband Gabe, granddaughters Riley and Kaylee Clooney, parents Edward and Helen Tomczak, sister Denise Barnett and husband Brian and nephew Tyler Avenell.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at Cashner Funeral Home on Monday, February 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
