Sharon Joyce Sowell

Sharon was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma on November 2nd, 1943. Sharon spent her early years in Chickasha, Oklahoma and Louisiana. She moved to Conroe, Texas in 1970 and then to Willis, Texas where she spent 25 years. She moved back to Conroe, Texas in 2004 where she lived until 2024. Sharon spent many years working at Forest Hill Funeral Home where she provided many families with support and comfort.

Sharon was predeceased by her mother, Ethel M. Woods, her grandparents, Quincy and Viola Jarrell, and her beloved Bichon Matt. She is survived by her son, Paul Sowell and wife Holly Sowell and grandchildren Michael and Sarah Sowell; Step Grandchildren Macey Rivas and husband Cody Rivas, Marshall Tickner and partner Dimitri Rodriguez, Mckenna Tickner, and great grandchild Ransom Rivas.

Sharon was known for her giving spirit, fierce independence and dry sense of humor. “I faced it all and stood tall and did it my way!”

Memorial Services will be held at Cashner Funeral Home on April 26th at 2:00pm.
