He was born in Houston, Texas on June 23, 1965 to Smitty and Sally Zunker. He graduated from Lamar High School in 1984 and continued on to college at Sam Houston State University.
Shawn never met a stranger. He had a special gift of conversation and social interaction. His greatest loves in life were his family and his deep love for music. He will be deeply missed by all.
Shawn is survived by: his wife, Tammy, son Mason Zunker, and step-son Trent, of Conroe; mother, Sally Zunker, of Houston; father and step-mother Smitty and Candy Zunker, of Centerville; brother and sister-in-law, John and Nataliya Zunker and niece Noelle, of Katy; as well as other family members and friends.
A visitation to remember Shawn and share stories of his life will be held at Metcalf Funeral Directors on Wednesday, May 7th from 5 to 8PM.
