Steven Scott Banta was born in Bonneterre, Missouri on March 7, 1971 to Charles Edward Banta Jr., and Alice Hovis Banta. He passed away on February 1, 2013 in Willis, Texas at the age of 41. He worked in the automotive paint industry and was employed by Tasco Auto Color. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Edward Banta Jr. He is survived by his mother Alice Hovis Banta, by his girlfriend Danette Boyd, and her children Cindy and Clay Boyd, and his three brothers: Kevin Ray McWilliams, George Glynn Banta, and Gefory Banta, and numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside Service will be held Tuesday February 5, 2013 in the Garden Park Cemetery at 3:00pm with Pastor Mike Davis as officiant.
