Memorial services to celebrate the life of Thomas Lee Farrar will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Tim Byrd officiating. Thomas was born December 17, 1934 in Many, Louisiana to Trammel and Elsie Farrar and entered into eternal rest on September 20, 2013 in Conroe, Texas. Thomas was an avid outdoorsman and animals, especially birds. He was a very hard working, gentle and kind man who never met a stranger. Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter, Dorothy Farrar; his son, Bruce Farrar and by his parents, Trammel and Elsie Farrar. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Cynthia Farrar of Conroe; daughters, Doris Townsend of White Oak, Texas and Carol Lively and husband Troy of Houston, TX; sons, Terry Farrar, Sr and wife Wanda of Longview, TX and Douglas Farrar and wife Christy of Alvin, TX; sisters, Jamie Stewart of West Jordan, Utah and Maxine Nix and husband Leon of Chandler, TX; 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends also survive.
