He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Marie McKenna. He is survived by his son Thomas Joseph McKenna Jr (Vicky), daughters Debbie McKenna, Terri Cain (David), grandchildren Lena Sonnier, Thomas Joseph McKenna III, Jeremy Cain, Caleb Cain, Lindsay Cain, sister Mary Alice Lemm (Glenn), brother Jerry McKenna as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend and a man of great faith. He would want to be remembered for his love for Jesus Christ. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith". Timothy 4:7. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
A Committal Service will be held at Farris Cemetery, Farris Cemetery Rd, Huntsville, TX 77873, US, on May 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM
