Virginia Davis Tucker, surrounded by the family she loved unconditionally and who loved her dearly, went to be with the Lord, October 21, 2012. “Ginny” as she was affectionately known by her friends and family was a loving wife to her deceased husband Don, a caring and doting mother to her three children, and grandmother that cherished spoiling her grandchildren. Virginia is survived by her children, Stan Tucker and his wife Vicki of Austin; Mariellen Tucker of Oak Ridge North and Jay Tucker and his wife Roxy of Austin; her four grandchildren; Christy Tucker, Kelsey Tucker, Jennifer Tucker Reed and her husband Kyle Reed, and Davis Tucker. Ginny taught kindergarten in Houston and Conroe Independent School Districts for 25 years, was an active member of The Woodlands United Methodist Church where she served in the Stephens Ministry, was an active participant in The Friendship Sunday School class and attended Bible Study Fellowship for many years. Ginny had the unique ability to see beyond herself and make you feel like you were the most important person in her life. She will be missed by all who knew her.
