It is with great sadness that the Sims family announces the death of William (Bill) Allen Sims, born on April 26, 1965, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on September 4, 2021 at the age of 56, with his devoted wife by his side.
Bill was an outgoing man who never met a stranger. His personality could light up a room. He was an outspoken jokester who always had a witty comeback. If he gave you a hard time, that meant he loved you.
Bill met his wife Kim in 1993, and they married in 1994. Together they had three girls, and he had two prior. Bill was a family man, he did everything in his power to protect his girls. Bill was also the best Pawpaw. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and son. He was an inspiration to most, a mentor to many, and a friend to all.
Bill had many jobs throughout his life until he found his passion for pest control. He loved meeting new people, and was an extraordinary salesman. With all the years of experience and relationships built, in 2018 he and his wife took a leap of faith and opened 911 PestSolutions. Little did he know it would become so successful in such a short amount of time, but for those that knew Bill knew he was one of the best in the business, so it was no surprise to us. Bill was proud of the legacy he was building for his family. Bill’s business grew from all of the relationships he built, and for that he was so grateful. His family will forever be proud of him.
Bill loved the Dallas Cowboys. He was a very devoted and loyal fan. He loved fishing, going on his boat, riding his four wheeler, piddling in his garage, and just spending time with his loved ones.
Bill is preceded in death by his mother Ruby Sims and granddaughter Kaiden, he is survived by wife Kimberlee Sims, Father Allen Sims, Daughters Stormi Saucedo, Amanda Sims, Abbie Sims, Lily Sims, and Emma Sims, Grandchildren Erik, Aden, Londyn, Rilynn, Kane, and Haven, and a host of coworkers and friends who he considered family. Also his cat Buddy (Bud-Bud) who will miss his late night snacks with his Daddy.
Bill loved the Lord, and we know he’s with Jesus. Losing him has been very difficult, but we know there were no regrets. We never left an “I love you” unsaid.
Our family asks that you continue to pray for us, especially for his girls, and that you hold your loved ones tight as we have learned no one is promised tomorrow.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2:00pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel. The family requests everyone to wear Dallas Cowboys attire please.
