Willie Katherine Pardue Hill

Katie was born November 6, 1920 in Hatton, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Pardue and Jessie Smith Pardue; her brother, Jesse Pardue; Sister, Louise Carroll and her beloved husband, Raymond Hill.

Katie was a treasured member and the pianist of Hatton Baptist Church for over 30 years. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service as Hatton Postmaster in 1989 after 22 years of devoted service to join her family in Conroe, Texas. She volunteered alongside her daughter Bobbie serving at the Montgomery County Salvation Army serving the homeless and Montgomery County Food Bank through Outreach of First Christian Church.

Katie is survived by her elder brother, Leonard Pardue of Portland, Oregon; her daughter, Bobbie Harris (Si Harris), son, Ray Hill (Karen Hill); daughter Margaret Kinsey (Bob); daughter Sue Robertson (Calvin) Grandchildren: Rachel Harris, Jason Hill, Mark Harris, Libby Garry, Stan Smith and Katherine Smith; Great Grandchildren: Beau Harris, Amanda Harris and numerous other special friends and family who loved and adored her.

A visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Tx on Wednesday, July 27th from 9-10am. The funeral service is following at 10am also at Cashner Funeral Home with Reverend Ed Bishop officiating.
