

Alvin was born on the island of Grenada to Clifton Mathew Alexander and Ciceley Calica Alexander on August 7, 1934. He went to school at town. He married Patricia Ann Pantin on May 11, 1965 in Bronx, NY. He attended Pace University in NYC. He worked as a data processing supervisor for American Express for 35 years.
Alvin loved traveling, especially cruises with his wife Patricia and close friends. He was happiest when finding new things to fix or improve upon around the house. He had a passion for sports cars and spent his life enjoying them along with his friends. Other interests involved golf, following the market, jazz and classical music and current events.
Alvin is preceded in death by parents Clifton and Ciceley, great aunt Catherine, brothers Renwick and Ralph.
Alvin is survived by spouse Patricia: sons Mark and Gary; brothers Roy and Cliff; sister Phyllis; Grandchildren Brittany, Katlin, Nicole, Gaerin, Nigella and Ian.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Kraeer Funeral Home, 1655 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071 between 4-8 pm.
Funeral services will be held 9am Friday, March 7 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery Chapel. Entombment will immediately follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements are by Kraeer Funeral Home.
