

Makai Godwin was born in Boca Raton to Adeaneki Howell and Thomas Godwin on January 19, 2025. He graduated from Broward Health Nicu. He worked as a Governor for Broward Nicu for 8 months. He was involved in collecting girlfriends, blowing kisses, sprinkling magic, bossing his mother around, etc.
Makai Godwin is preceded in death by Great-grandparents Inez Swaby and Vernice Howell, Melbourne Howell, Joseph Johnsons and uncle’s Winston Johnson, Michael Howell, Aunts Toni- Ann Howell and Jessica Godwin.
Makai Godwin is survived by Parents Adeaneki Howell, Thomas Godwin, Sister Hannah Godwin, Brother Isaiah Godwin Grandparents Marlene and Andrew Howell, Thomas Godwin sr and Cynthia Godwin, Aunt’s Sharifa, Andrea, Megan and Lindsey, Uncle Andrew Howell and Abijah Howell

A visitation will be held at Horizon Funeral Home & Cremation Services located at 4650 N Federal Hwy, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064, on December 20, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on December 20, 2025.
A committal service will follow at The Gardens of Boca Raton - Cemetery & Funeral Services, located at 4103 N Military Trl, Boca Raton, FL 33431, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm on December 20, 2025.
