Barry Richard Huckins Jr.

Huckins, Barry Richard Jr., “BJ”, 39, of Wilton Manors, was an angel called to be with the Lord on December 21, 2013. BJ was born January 31, 1974 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and he graduated from North East High School where he excelled in baseball. He was kind, fun loving, caring and a happy go lucky individual. His passions were family, fishing with friends and living every day to the fullest. He loved the Miami Dolphins and the Miami Heat and he had an upcoming fishing trip to the Florida Keys planned. BJ was employed by Publix Supermarkets for the last 20 years and most recently as a meat manager. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Linda (John) Filipowicz & Barry (Bidda) Huckins Sr., sister, Tina (Brad) White, brother and best friend, Michael Huckins, girlfriend, Jackie Vasile, nieces, Taylor, Hailey, Tori ,nephew, Jordan, many aunts, uncles, cousins and his Publix family. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28, 2013, 1:00 – 4:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 4:00pm. He will be terribly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
