With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Brittany Michele Babchick, who was born on September 21, 1988, and entered heaven on January 7, 2025, at the young age of 36. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
Brittany’s greatest joy in life was her beloved daughter, Gianna Heart Gioia Babchick (17). Gianna was her life's purpose, her greatest gift from God, and the beat of her heart. Brittany was endlessly proud of her, celebrating every accomplishment, including her recent acceptance to SMU. Their bond was unbreakable, and her love for Gianna knew no bounds.
She is deeply missed by her loving parents, Debra and Michael Babchick; her sister and brother-in-law, Brooke and Michael Sarysz; and as “Auntie Britt” and Godmother to her cherished niece and nephew, Ava and Michael Sarysz. She is reunited in heaven with her dear grandparents, Elaine and Mathew Buonomo, and Eileen and Albert Babchick, along with many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Brittany had a heart of gold—kind, giving, and always ready to help others. Her smile could light up a room, and her laughter was truly contagious. She had a passion for cooking and eating, especially enjoying her dad’s mashed potatoes. She also loved indulging in ice cream and Reese’s peanut butter cups and had a deep love for all animals, especially her loyal dog, Titan. She was happiest at the beach, in anything leopard print, embracing the beauty of life.
We find comfort in knowing she is at peace, watching over all of us—especially Gianna—with love from above.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Cypress Head Clubhouse from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Please wear leopard print in Brittany’s honor and bring a cherished memory to share.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Humane Society, causes close to Brittany’s heart.
Brittany’s light, love, and laughter will forever remain in our hearts.
