Chris leaves behind her brother Jack (Susan), sister Michele, an extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her loving friends, some of whom she knew since grade school. She is preceded in death by her long time partner Daniel, mother Eleanor, sister Leanora, brother Victor, and sister Gussie.
Gina was born on September 13, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY, and although she spent time in New Jersey, North Carolina, and Florida, in her heart she remained true to her roots as a New York girl.
Chris requested no service to be held. Having suffered for many years, she planned in advance her final wishes. She will be cremated and interred in North Carolina, alongside her Mother and sister Lea. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the COPD Foundation, or to her favorite charity St. Jude. The family would like to thank Vitas Healthcare for their care in making Chris as comfortable as possible throughout her long illness.
